We are pleased to announce that CameraMatch 2013 is now available. This Vectorworks plug-in offers many new features including one standard control line mode, interface improvements, and a new preview object.
Developed by Matt Panzer, CameraMatch allows designers to quickly and accurately align a 3D model view to a photograph.
According to freelance designer Tom Cutler, CameraMatch gracefully simplifies an otherwise arduous task. “The hours I used to spend fine-tuning the camera manually can now be allotted to increasing the image quality of the rendering itself,” explains Cutler. “Even if the client can visualise your intentions from a plan or elevation, nothing impresses more than being able to show them exactly what the end product will look like. Being able to blend a model with a photograph accomplishes exactly that.”
