Vectorworks at USITT

2010/04/08

If you were at the United States Institute for Theatre Technology conference (USITT) last week in Kansas City, hopefully you got the chance to attend the session on “Vectorworks and AutoCAD getting along” with Nemetschek North America’s Director of Training Frank Brault as a panelist. There were over 200 attendees who had the opportunity to see first-hand how the two programs work together, specifically through the seamless data exchange of PDF, DXF/DWG files, etc.

Gregg Hillmar, author of Light Plot Deconstructed, was also on site signing copies of his book and helping to spread the good news about our software in the entertainment design industry.

Gregg Hillmar, Author of Light Plot Deconstructed

“I was certainly happy to represent Light Plot Deconstructed and Vectorworks at this important event.” states Gregg. “As usual, I chatted with some of the best in our business who were happy to see the friendly approach used in Light Plot Deconstructed. They were impressed with the fact that it was not a step-by-step tutorial yet covered all of the important steps needed to draft a plot. To top it off, my book sold out at the conference!”

Thanks to Frank and Gregg for representing us well.  You both have been cast for the next performance!
